I have almost signed up for Yuletide several times now.

I'd ask someone here to remind me why overcommitting to holiday exchanges - especially when you volunteered to mod for one - is a bad idea, but you are all *dirty enablers*.

Overcommitting to holiday exchanges is a bad idea because you'd find yourself unable to give each of them the time and attention it deserves, you wouldn't be able to enjoy your creations for weeks afterwards, you'd be burned out on other fandom endeavors for at least that long, you'd lose sleep and energy for it, and you'd forget to fold your laundry.
